BIM As-Built Modeling is quickly becoming a highly requested delivery format for as-built service providers. Even if the project was not designed utilizing BIM, it is often requested that in addition to standard as-built drawings, that a BIM as-built  model be completed. This modeling usually takes place after the 2D as-built drawings are completed, and the data is taken from the 2D as-built drawings.
